Learning solutions

Learning matters most when it changes what people do.

Here are some of the challenges organizations have brought to us, how we approached them, and what changed as a result.

These representative engagements draw from our work across consulting, partnerships, previous roles, and Elixir projects. Client identities and proprietary details are omitted where appropriate.

Real Organizations. Real Challenges. Better Decisions.

When staff knew the policy but hesitated to escalate

CHALLENGE

Privacy training was complete across the organization, yet incident reports showed staff were still uncertain about when a concern warranted escalation — particularly on night shifts and at front-desk roles.

APPROACH

Rebuilt privacy and reporting training around branching workplace scenarios instead of policy recall. Each scenario mapped decisions to Risk Recognition, Communication, and Escalation Judgment.

IMPACT

Leaders could see which roles and shifts hesitated on escalation, and directed coaching to those specific groups rather than repeating training for everyone.

New managers avoiding the difficult conversation

CHALLENGE

Newly promoted people leaders completed leadership training but consistently deferred difficult performance and conduct conversations upward, creating bottlenecks for senior leadership.

APPROACH

Designed scenario-based leadership practice around the conversations managers actually avoid, with DecisionLens™ measuring confidence, communication clarity, and ownership.

IMPACT

The organization identified that the gap was confidence rather than knowledge, and shifted from more content to structured coaching support for new leaders.

One safety standard across facilities and languages

CHALLENGE

Safety procedures were being interpreted differently across facilities, and a multilingual workforce meant some employees were working from translated documents of inconsistent quality.

APPROACH

Built a single master safety curriculum with scenario practice, then localized it through AI-assisted translation with native-language human review and technical QA.

IMPACT

Every facility trained against the same standard in the employee's own language, and updates to the master course rolled through all localized versions.

Proving compliance training changed behavior

CHALLENGE

The compliance team could evidence completion rates to regulators and the board but could not demonstrate whether the training had improved judgment on conflicts of interest and escalation.

APPROACH

Introduced DecisionLens™ across the annual compliance cycle, mapping learner decisions to Ethical Judgment, Risk Recognition, and Consistency, with department-level comparison.

IMPACT

Compliance reporting moved from completion percentages to competency evidence, giving the team a defensible view of where judgment was strong and where it needed attention.

EDUCATION

Consistent orientation across faculty and staff

CHALLENGE

Faculty, staff, and online teaching teams were onboarded through different local processes, producing uneven understanding of student privacy, accessibility, and professional boundaries.

APPROACH

Created a role-based onboarding journey with a shared core and role-specific paths, accessibility built in from the start, and manager check-in guides at each phase.

IMPACT

New faculty and staff started from the same baseline understanding, and department leads had a structured way to support the first ninety days.

GOVERNMENT

Delivering training without adding an LMS

CHALLENGE

A public-sector team needed to deliver and evidence mandatory ethics and records training across multiple departments, without budget or capacity to procure and administer a learning platform.

APPROACH

Hosted the existing SCORM library through Managed Learning Delivery, organized learners by department, and set up scheduled manager reporting and automated reminders.

IMPACT

Training was live within days, department leads received progress reports without asking, and the team evidenced completion without administering a system.

Want to talk through relevant experience?

Many of our engagements involve confidential or proprietary work. We’re happy to discuss relevant experience, outcomes, and references where permissions allow.

Different industries. Same underlying problem.

Across industries, the strongest learning strategies share a common thread: they move beyond asking whether people finished the training and start examining how people actually make decisions.

Start with the real moment

Every engagement begins by understanding the specific workplace decisions where things actually go wrong, not by cataloguing policies.

Let people practice the choice

Branching scenarios put learners in the situation with consequences attached, so judgment is rehearsed before it’s needed.

Measure the pattern, not the pass

We turn those choices into meaningful evidence, so leaders can see where coaching will actually help and focus support where it makes a difference.

What's your challenge?

Every engagement starts the same way — a conversation about what’s actually happening in your organization, and what you need to change.
