At Elixir Learning Solutions, we believe effective learning begins with access.
We are committed to providing digital experiences that are inclusive and usable by people with a wide range of abilities, technologies, and ways of interacting with content.
Accessibility isn’t simply a website requirement for us. It’s part of how we think about learning design.
Our Commitment
Elixir Learning Solutions works to improve the accessibility and usability of our website and digital experiences using recognized accessibility principles and standards.
Our goal is to align our public digital experiences with applicable accessibility requirements and relevant guidance from the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
Accessibility is an ongoing process, and we periodically evaluate our content, design, and technology as our website and services evolve.
How We Approach Accessible Design
Where applicable, we consider accessibility throughout the design and development process, including:
Accessibility in Learning Experiences
Because learning design is at the center of our work, we also consider accessibility when developing digital learning experiences for clients.
Depending on the project requirements, this may include accessible navigation, keyboard interaction, screen-reader considerations, captions, transcripts, alternative text, readable visual design, accessible assessments, and other accommodations.
Accessibility requirements for individual client projects are established through the applicable project scope and client requirements.
Third-Party Content and Platforms
Some areas of our website or learning experiences may rely on third-party technologies, platforms, embedded content, or services.
Although we seek to work with technologies that support accessible experiences, Elixir may not control every aspect of the accessibility of third-party products.
We welcome reports of accessibility barriers involving these experiences so that we can investigate available alternatives or improvements.
We Welcome Feedback
Accessibility improves when people tell us what isn’t working.
If you experience difficulty accessing any part of our website, encounter an accessibility barrier, or need information in another format, please contact us.
When possible, please include the page or resource you were attempting to access and a brief description of the difficulty you encountered.
We will make reasonable efforts to understand the issue and provide an accessible alternative when appropriate.
